3 Unforgettable Things to See in Dubai
May 30, 2021
Dubai is one of the most amazing places I’ve ever been to. Everything in Dubai is huge, so pictures can’t even do the architecture justice. The city has some of the most exquisite architecture I’ve ever witnessed, which can be seen almost anywhere in the city. There’s so much to see and do in Dubai, that each day will be full of fun activities and adventures. Although there are so many amazing things to see, I have narrowed it down to my top three favorites, which was so hard!
1. The Dubai Underwater Aquarium and Zoo
If you’re an animal lover, then the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo are for you. This amazing place is located within the Dubai Mall in the heart of the city. This attraction is home to hundreds of marine animals, including sharks, otters, stingrays rays, and penguins. It’s the home to thousands of aquatic animal species, holding over 400 sharks and stingrays in a 10 million liter tank! They not only give you access to viewing hundreds of sea animals, but they also offer special encounters where you can interact with them one-on-one. Our experience included petting the penguins, feeding the giant crocodiles, and shaking hands with the otters. This was honestly one of the most interactive, fun aquarium/zoo hybrids I’ve ever been to.
2. The Dubai Frame
The Dubai Frame is known for holding the record as the largest frame in the world. This amazing structure was designed to be a monument that celebrates the city. So, this landmark is open to the public to allow guests the opportunity to view Dubai’s past, present, and future from a sky glass bridge. The Frame has a rectangular design and is covered with over 15,000 square meters of gold-dipped stainless steel. This monument is so amazing, I would highly recommend checking it out, especially for the unforgettable views of the city.
3. The Dubai Miracle Garden
The Dubai Miracle Garden is truly one of the most magical places. It’s a massive flower garden consisting of over 50 million flowers and 250,000 plants. Interesting fact, this is the biggest garden in the entire world. The Dubai Miracle Garden has achieved three different Guinness World Records, which is pretty cool. They have several huge attractions to see that are standing between 50 to 100 feet tall. Some of the attractions include Disney characters, giant teddy bears, a floral clock, the floating lady, and princess castles. We had such a great time taking in the beautiful scenery of this location. From the colorful, vibrant flowers, to the amazing topiary’s scattered throughout the garden, this was truly a special experience.
Dubai is one of the grandest, most beautiful places in the world. This is such a special place to visit. There’s so much to see and do that it can be overwhelming trying to plan the perfect trip. However, I guarantee that these three attractions above will make for some unforgettable memories. Thank you for following along with me at Big Guy Big World. I hope this post helps as you plan your dream vacation to the beautiful city of Dubai.
