Atlantis Suite: An Underwater Experience

Welcome to the beautiful resort of Atlantis located on the Palm Mermaid Islands in the United Arab Emirates. This resort, also known as the Palm, is one of the most amazing places I’ve ever stayed. Our suite was underwater. Literally, there was an aquarium in our room. How cool is that? The suite was called the Poseidon, and it was so luxurious. 

Atlantis Resort and Spa  

The Atlantis Resort and Spa is on the Palm Islands, which is a series of man-made islands in Dubai. In the very center of the final island, is the Atlantis Resort, which is massive, as well as beautiful. This amazing resort is located on the vibrant, blue waters of the Arabian Gulf. There is so much to see and do in Atlantis, you will honestly never be bored. The resort offers several award-winning celebrity chef restaurants, an exciting Aquaventure water park, an interactive aquarium, and several other luxurious amenities.

The Poseidon Suite 

I don’t normally post much about lodging, but this suite and experience were so amazing, that I had to share them! I have wanted to stay in an underwater suite for many years, and now I have. There are two rooms in the resort that are underwater, and I was able to snag one of them for three nights due to the amazing price. The room was such a steal due to the lack of traveling during the pandemic.

The underwater suite is three stories high and has an elevator inside. The bedroom is on the third floor and is submerged under the water. Who needs a TV when you can look into an aquarium from your bed? Also, in the master bathroom, you can take a bath with an amazing view of the aquarium. However, divers, who occasionally service the aquarium, can also see into your room, so just keep that in mind. There are over 65,000 marine animals in the aquarium that will casually glide right past your bed! The aquarium houses about every kind of fish and sea animal you can imagine including sharks, stingrays, and hundreds of different species of fish. Nothing can compare to staying in this suite, it was truly an unforgettable experience.

The Experience 

Funny story, we were watching the famous TV show, Keeping up with the Kardashians, and they showed the Kardashians staying in the same suite! During the episode the camera panned through the room we were sitting in, while we were sitting in it. We had several luxurious perks for staying in the Poseidon suite including a private elevator to the Underwater Hotel Suite’s lounge, 24-hour private butler service, and a complimentary interconnecting room. Everything was catered for, so we could enjoy every moment.

This was such an incredible experience. Atlantis was not only beautiful, but the service was excellent. I would highly recommend Atlantis if you are planning to visit the Palm Islands in Dubai.
