Welcome to paradise! Our Big Guy Big World Bahamas Adventure began in Nassau, the vibrant capital city. Pastel-colored colonial buildings in Parliament Square set the scene for a day full of island charm. From there, we wandered through Bay Street, buzzing with duty-free shops, street vendors, and the lively rhythm of Bahamian life.

Eventually, we arrived at the Straw Market, a must-visit spot packed with authentic Bahamian crafts and souvenirs. It’s a colorful place where every stall tells a story, and no two handcrafted items are the same.

As we made our way to the waterfront, the Paradise Island Lighthouse came into view. Standing tall across the harbor, it offered the perfect backdrop for a peaceful moment by the sea.

Surprise Reunion in Nassau

The highlight of the day was a surprise I had planned at Margaritaville Beach Resort. I joined the crew unexpectedly for an exclusive sneak peek of the upcoming Big Guy Big World series. Reuniting with the Big Fam was electric-we shared laughs, memories, and real excitement about what’s next.

While the Big Fam continued enjoying the ship’s amenities, I set off for a solo side trip to Exuma island, one of the 700 that comprise the Bahamas.
