Doga Thermal Health and Spa in Pamukkale
While exploring Pamukkale, a town in western Turkey, we stayed at the Doga Thermal Health and Spa. The hotel is located about 20 kilometers from Denizli and is conveniently close to the famous thermal pools of Pamukkale and historic Roman ruins. The most unique part of this hotel is the hot spring located on-site containing mineral-rich waters.
Doga Hotel
The Doga Thermal Health and Spa is a five-star hotel in Pamukkale. Not only is this hotel beautiful, but it also delivers great service. They offer a variety of amenities including a huge spa. The spa offers many services including a steam room, sauna, and Turkish bath. They also have a physical therapy and rehabilitation clinic, which is super unique.
They offer several room layouts to fit your needs, which is nice. Our room was both modern and spacious. Our room was super luxurious and had a few unique features, one of them being in the bathroom. As you can see in the photo above, the bathtub as two different faucets. So, you have the choice of using the mineral water from the hot spring or the regular water from the hotel plumbing. Either way, you will be able to enjoy a luxurious, healing bath after a long day exploring Turkey. The lobby, pools, and other various areas of the hotel were very cool. They have a huge spiral staircase in the pool area, which was awesome!
Hot Spring
The Doga Thermal Health and Spa is known for its amazing thermal pools. The hot spring is what draws so many guests to the hotel. The Turkish often say that these pools carry many healing benefits and are frequently used as medical treatments. A few of the great benefits include relieving chronic pain, reducing stress, sleep promotion, and improving skin conditions. The silica found in hot springs can soften dry skin. Also, the sulfur in the water can relieve conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. Also, the water contains a variety of different minerals, including calcium and sodium bicarbonate. These minerals increase circulation and oxygen flow.
Nearby Attractions
A great feature about this hotel is that it’s centrally located to many famous attractions in the area. While staying at this hotel, we got to visit the crystal, white terraces of Pamukkale and explore the ancient ruins of Hierapolis. While wandering through Hierapolis, we got to see many amazing structures still standing today, such as the huge amphitheater. You can read more about that adventure here. We had such a great time, and I would highly recommend exploring Pamukkale.
In conclusion, we had a great experience from start to finish at this hotel. The ambiance, cleanliness, and amenities far exceeded our expectations. This was truly a five-star hotel, and I would for sure stay here again. I hope this entry helped you decide whether to book the Doga Thermal Health and Spa while traveling through Turkey. Stay tuned for more experiences and adventures to come!

I would love to be able to fill my hotel tub with water directly from a hot spring. What a unique opportunity.
