Upon landing, we transitioned to a 1.5-hour bus ride that gave us a closer look at Guatemala’s vibrant countryside. Semuc Champey is a natural bridge formed by limestone, with the Cahabón River flowing beneath it. The pools, shimmering in shades of blue and green, are perfect for swimming, relaxing, or simply soaking in the serene beauty of nature. The effort to get there was more than worth it—this hidden gem felt like a world away from everything.

After exploring and marveling at Semuc Champey, our group retraced our steps, taking the truck and boat back to our starting point before returning to Guatemala City by helicopter.
