A Culinary Surprise at Gunpowder
Our exploration led us to Gunpowder, where we had one of the most memorable encounters of our trip. While enjoying a drink, we met a fascinating Mexican-American woman who, contrary to our initial assumption, was not Antiguan and only spoke English. Her vibrant personality added a delightful twist to our evening
The centuries-old structures of English Harbour showcase its rich history and stand resilient against the passage of time. To our amazement, a server approached us, holding a landline phone. It was her on the other end, informing us that we had arrived at her sister’s restaurant. As a special gesture, they delivered the same delectable dishes we loved at Gunpowder to us by boat. This extraordinary act of hospitality left us speechless and further enriched our experience.
