Honoring the lives and legacies of those we adventured with
In Loving Memory
Every adventure becomes more meaningful when shared with fellow adventurers who understand that life's greatest treasures aren't found in destinations, but in the moments we create together. Though those we remember here are no longer physically traveling with us, their adventurous spirits continue to guide every destination we explore and remind us that the world becomes a smaller, more beautiful place when we explore it as family.
Tammie Parrish
January 23, 1969 – September 11, 2025
Tammie was truly an amazing individual and a cherished member of our Big Guy Big World family. From the moment she joined our community, it was clear that she possessed something special, a zest for life, and an adventurous spirit.
We genuinely treasured having her on every adventure we shared together. Whether we were exploring the canals of Amsterdam, wandering through the historic streets of London, or discovering hidden gems around the world, Tammie brought an enthusiasm that made every moment more memorable.
Her absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt by our entire Big Guy family and countless others whose lives she touched. We'll carry forward the lessons she taught us about embracing life's journey with open hearts and minds. Rest in peace, dear Tammie. Your memory will accompany us wherever our journeys may take us. You will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
Edee Baggett
January 30, 1956 - June 23, 2024
We honored the life and legacy of Edee Baggett by creating a beautiful mural in Amsterdam, one of her most beloved places. Edee was a treasured member of our Big Guy Big World family and a true southern lady, sweet, gracious, and ever forgiving. She touched the lives of many with her gentle spirit and warm heart.
Edee was not only a beloved friend but also worked alongside Mark in his businesses, bringing her caring nature and dedication to everything she did. Whether we were exploring new destinations or simply sharing stories, her genuine kindness and forgiving spirit left a lasting impression on all of us. She had an incredible ability to bring joy and warmth to every situation, and her presence made our Big Guy family stronger and more connected, thanks to that special southern grace she carried.
Her absence leaves an immense void that can never truly be filled, but we will continue to honor her memory for as long as we live. The mural in Amsterdam serves as a lasting tribute to a remarkable woman who gave so much of herself to others. Rest in peace, dear Edee. We love you dearly and will carry your spirit with us on every adventure ahead.
Deni Tako
December 30, 1968 - November 12, 2023
I (Mark) can still remember the first day I met Deni. She came in for an interview at my Santa Ana office. It was me, Crystal, and a bunch of young kids all in our early twenties who had just decided to open our own business. I remember how we thought it was funny to play games and pretend we were writing things down during the interview. Deni picked up on it immediately! She looked at my writing and grammar and said that if that was my work, I definitely needed her assistance.
Seventeen years later, Deni had become so much more than an employee. She was more than a confidant, more than a friend. She was family and one of my oldest and dearest friends. Deni was fierce like a bulldog when she needed to be, but loyal as can be to those she cared about. Not only did she help me build my business from the ground up, but she also helped me navigate life and make it through some of the toughest times, always sticking by my side with unwavering dedication.
Her fierce loyalty and protective spirit made her an irreplaceable part of our Big Guy Big World family. Deni's strength, wisdom, and devotion touched everyone who knew her. I will love her forever and never forget everything she did for me and all of us. Rest easy, my dear friend Deni. Your legacy lives on in everything we've built together.
