One of our last adventures in Dubai was pretty unforgettable. We visited the Global Village, which is a multi-cultural theme park located on the outskirts of Dubai. Not only was the entire park lit up with bright, colorful lights, but there was also a ton of rides, carnival attractions, shops, street food stands, and various vendors. The Global Village also featured live performances, authentic cuisine from each country, fireworks, and much more. Needless to say, you won’t be bored at the Global Village.

The Global Village

This is one of Dubai’s most popular tourist attractions because of its unique approach to cultural entertainment. The Global Village originally began in 1997 and has moved locations within the city a few times. However, its permanent home is on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road on the outskirts of Dubai. This is a seasonal attraction event that’s only held within the cooler months, so it usually runs from October through April.

There were twenty-six pavilions to visit at Global Village Dubai that represented over seventy-eight nations around the world! Each pavilion showcased the country’s merchandise, culture, and authentic cuisine. It kind of reminded me of Disney World’s Epcot! A few of the countries represented were China, Russia, India, Japan, Turkey, Thailand, and many more. Each country in the village had dozens of vendors set up for you to browse and learn about their culture.

This amazing amusement park delivers on both cool scenery and fun activities! While walking through the village, we saw huge country pavilions, Ripleys’ Believe It or Not, various carnival rides, a stunt show, and many other fun attractions. The village also features shopping from around the world consisting of various outdoor markets. It was super fun to look through each countries merchandise and learn about the various popular items for sale.

Rides & Attractions

There were a ton of rides and attractions for both adults and kids. They had tons of carnival fairground rides including a giant Ferris wheel. There were arcades and carnival games scattered all throughout the amusement park. On Kiosk Street, they had tons of tasty street food vendors where you can indulge in delicious food and snacks.

The Ripleys’ Believe It or Not attraction was super fun and included bizarre memorabilia from all around the world. Not only was the experience filled with mind-boggling illusions, but it also has other weird and wonderful things. We took a few fun pictures, as you can see above. They also had a mirror maze that we were able to walk through, which was exciting.

The Experience

We had such a great time exploring the Global Village. I would highly recommend this amusement park if you are traveling through Dubai. This was a perfect way to end our travels in this amazing place. We got so many cool photos that we will treasure forever. This is a great location for both friends and family because there is so much to see and do. If you would like to read more about our previous experiences in Dubai, you can catch up here. Thanks for reading along! If you decide to visit the Global Village in the future, I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
