While we’ve been traveling through Colombia, we’ve seen some amazing things. This country is so beautiful and is full of breathtaking scenery, exciting excursions, and beautiful culture. Exploring a country like Colombia can be exhausting since there is so much to do. That’s why it’s important to find a nice hotel where you can unwind after all your adventures. We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn at the airport in Bogota.
Hilton Garden Inn
If you find yourself near Zipaquirá, Colombia, this is the best place to stay. The hotel is about an hour and 20 minutes from the Cathedral site, but it is very clean and the prices are reasonable. They offer free WiFI, parking, a fitness center, and room service – to name a few of their amazing amenities. Not to mention it’s super close to the airport with a convenient shuttle service.
They have a restaurant on-site, that way you don’t need to leave the hotel after a long day. The Hilton chain also has a new “clean stay” program that shows their dedication to keeping the staff and guests safe during this high-risk time. They are taking extra precautions as they clean high-traffic areas, keep a social distance, and provide hands-free check-in and check-out options.
Our Stay
We had a great experience at the Hilton Garden. I have nothing negative to say, and I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a hotel in Bogota. Thank you for joining me on this wild ride of exploring the world through a pandemic. My goal is to inspire others and create a place that brings light and positivity, especially following such a hard year. There are so many who lost so much. My hope is that this blog will be an escape for some of you. That being said, stay tuned for more exciting adventures to come.
