The Kempinski Nile Hotel: Garden City Cairo

Hey everyone, welcome back to my travel blog! We are now embarking on our travels through the middle east. Currently, we are exploring the city of Cairo, which is the capital of Egypt. This incredible place sits right on the Nile River and is the largest city in Egypt. We had the pleasure of staying at an amazing hotel called the Kempinski Nile Hotel, which I would highly recommend.

The Hotel

The Kempinski Nile Hotel is located on the east bank of the Nile River in Cairo’s Garden City. The hotel is located in the center of the town, which is super convenient. The city center is just a ten-minute drive from the hotel, and both the famous Egyptian Museum and Cairo Opera House are just a short walk away. We stayed in the presidential suite, which was amazing because we had the most incredible view of the city from our windows.

Hotel Amenities

This hotel has so many amazing features. There a ton of restaurants and bars located inside of the hotel. They have poolside and rooftop dining that overlooks the Nile River and the city of Cairo. If you prefer to eat indoors, there is also a restaurant and grill inside the hotel with a delicious menu. You can also kick back after a long day of exploring the city at the Jazz Bar or the Chocolate Lounge for those of you that have a sweet tooth.

This luxurious hotel is a popular host for special events. For many, the stunning views make for the perfect wedding venue. There is also a spa located inside the hotel that offers many services including facials, massages, and healing wraps. Also located in the spa, is a fitness center and private pool. Needless to say, if you need to take a break from exploring the city, this hotel offers many amenities for you to kick back, relax, and enjoy your trip.

Above and Beyond

They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was not only good but excellent. We were greeted with a friendly staff, received a super clean suite, and were impressed by the small details that made this hotel stand out. For instance, we had flowers, bite-size snacks and chocolates, and a fresh fruit bowl delivered to our suite. Sometimes it’s the little things that are the most meaningful.

Hotel COVID Policies

The Kempinski Nile Hotel has taken proper precautions to keep both the guests and the staff safe while navigating through this global pandemic. The hotel requires that all staff members wear gloves and face masks at all times, while of course remaining socially distanced. They give you towelettes, hand sanitizer, and face masks when you arrive at the hotel.

A luggage cleaning and disinfection service are offered upon arrival before they deliver your belongings to your room. They are constantly cleaning the hotel, especially high traffic areas such as the restaurants, spa, gym, pools, and restrooms. Overall, I was very impressed with how clean the hotel was. We felt very safe staying here as we traveled through Cairo during a pandemic.

Great Stay

The Kempinski Nile Hotel was not only beautiful on the inside, but it offered breathtaking views of the city and the Nile river.
