The W Marriott Resort in Costa Rica

Guanacaste, Costa Rica

As we’ve traveled through Costa Rica, we have mostly been staying in Airbnbs. We discovered a lot of beautiful houses in gated communities with 24/7 security. As you can see in the pictures below, the Airbnbs were very luxurious with amazing views.

We did, however, stay at one resort owned by the Marriott called the W in the Conoco Reserve, and it was amazing. The shower had a view that looked right into the ocean. I mean how could we ask for a better view than that?

The W

This luxurious resort sits right in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by a lush green landscape, nature, and wildlife. This is truly the perfect vacation getaway if you’re planning to travel through Costa Rica. The resort is tucked away in the beautiful mangroves of Guanacaste. This resort’s ambiance and decor are inspired by Guanacaste’s beautiful culture.

The hotel offers all-inclusive dining packages. There are a couple of restaurants within the resort including the Cocina de Mercado, Latitud Norte, WET Deck, and the Zona Azul Beach Club. Needless to say, there is something for everyone here, and you don’t even have to leave the resort!

Amenities

This hotel offers several luxurious amenities that guarantee you’ll have an unforgettable stay. The W has an amazing spa called Away. They offer massages, facials, and a sauna that will help you relax after a long day exploring Costa Rica. They also have a fitness center that is super clean with up-to-date machines.

The W offers several excursion opportunities including trails, kayaking, snorkeling, a nature preserve, and bike rentals. Any of these would be so fun, and it’s super convenient that you’re able to book them directly through the hotel. There is a golf course on-site as well. The W Resort has an adult-only pool, and they also have a family pool where you can soak up the sun and spend a fun day outdoors surrounded by the beautiful sights of Costa Rica.

Our Stay

We had an amazing experience at this resort. Not only were the accommodations, staff, dining, and amenities amazing, but the location of the resort was breathtaking. I would highly recommend this resort if you’re planning a trip to Guanacaste. Thanks for reading along, I hope you found this entry helpful as you plan your trip. We have had so many amazing adventures in Costa Rica, like when we visited the Ponderosa Safari!  In other words, see you next time! Mark sighting off.
