The Westin Dubai Resort & Marina

On our last few days in Dubai, we stayed at The Westin Dubai Resort & Marina, located along the Arabian Gulf. We stayed in the Presidential Suite, which was beyond luxurious. This resort had so many amazing amenities and activities, I couldn’t recommend it enough. 

The Westin

This resort was stunning. From the beautiful decor and various dining amenities to the excellent service, I would highly recommend this hotel if you plan to travel through Dubai. This five-star resort sits on Jumeirah Beach and is the perfect getaway for friends and family to unwind and relax. Surrounded by white sand and vibrant, blue waters, this resort feels like an island paradise. 

Amenities

There are so many great features to this hotel. The Westin is filled with amazing amenities that make this a must-stay resort. Some of the many amenities include free valet parking, nine different restaurants and bars, five pools, a water park, a spa and gym, and a private beach. There are several room options to fit your needs. We stayed in the Presidential Suite which included a dining room, bar area, kitchen, grand entrance, living area, and a balcony with a beautiful view of the sea.

A luxurious spa and fitness center are available to the guests. Following your workout, the Heavenly Spa offers a huge selection of massages, body treatments, facials, and spa packages to relax after having a fun day in the sun. There’s also a private beach that offers a ton of fun activities such as water-skiing, kayaking, and banana boat rides. The Westin’s Jungle Bay Water Park has rides and attractions for all ages. A few of the rides include the Lighthouse Ride, Whizzard and Body Slides, an Aqua Play Structure, and a Wave Pool. Needless to say, you won’t be bored.

COVID-19 Policies

Throughout our stay at the hotel, we were super impressed with the overall cleanliness. The hotel has taken extra precautions throughout the pandemic. Here is what to expect during your stay at the Westin. Disinfectant wipes are handed out when you first arrive at the resort. Mobile check-in and check-outs are available to limit your time at the front desk. The staff members will be wearing masks at all times. Also, they will try to have the least amount of contact possible to remain socially distanced. Certain high-traffic areas are constantly being cleaned such as the restaurants, the gym, and the pool areas. You’re required to wear a mask at all times when you’re in the gym and the spa.

Our Experience 

We had an amazing time at this resort and our overall stay was great. We had excellent service, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a special experience. They gave us a buffet of fresh fruit, a chocolate surprise, and various desserts. The chocolate surprise was pretty cool. It was a gold soccer ball made of chocolate that we had to crack open with a tiny hammer. The suite was amazing, but the staff is what really made our stay unique.
