If you want to indulge in delicious food, while floating along the beautiful Nile River, then this dinner cruise is for you. The Nile Maxim is a super fun river cruise that delivered both great entertainment and excellent service. The dock is located across the street from the Marriott Hotel and Casino in the Garden city of Cairo in Egypt. This was such a cool way to explore Cairo.
Nile River
The Nile River is the longest in Africa. The Nile flows into the Mediterranean Sea and is about 6,695 kilometers in length. For the Ancient Egyptians, the Nile River provided drinking water, food trade, and transportation. Most of Egypt is a desert, but the Nile River enriches the soil around it to produce crops such as wheat, flax, and papyrus. The river is super clean, which allows visitors to take a refreshing swim in the beautiful flowing water. You can also enjoy a dinner cruise with live entertainment, tasty cocktails, and a delicious menu.
River Cruise
The Nile Maxim was such a fun experience. It’s a two-hour cruise from 8 to 10 PM that runs every night. The menu consists of Lebanese food, which was delicious. We had a great main course, and the desserts were so good. The food was amazing, and I would highly recommend it.
The whole cruise from start to finish was packed with entertainment! First, a man came out in a very colorful costume. He started his act by dancing in circles, and honestly, it looked like he made himself pretty dizzy. Then as the music sped up, his outfit turned into a light show. The next act was a belly dancer who did two different performances. She was very pretty, but in my opinion, she didn’t do a whole lot of belly dancing.
Great Experience
I enjoyed this dinner cruise a lot. Not only were we able to admire the sights of the Nile River, but we also got to be entertained while indulging in delicious food. I would recommend the Nile Maxim if you are planning to take a river cruise through Cairo.
